Every number on this page comes from the same API the product runs on, fetched the moment you loaded it. Nothing here is a marketing figure.
How the marketplace protects both sides
✓ Escrow — a renter's payment is held and released only for uptime actually delivered; unused time is refunded automatically.
✓ Hardware checks — a listing only becomes rentable when the host’s app reports the graphics card it lists. That report comes from the host’s machine; we do not independently attest it.
✓ Sandboxing — the RentGPUPower app runs renter work in a Docker container by default, away from the host’s own files; a listing says so when its host has turned that off.
Escrow is enforced by our servers and covered by the automated test suites that run on every change; the hardware and sandbox checks rely on what the host’s app reports.
How it's tested
Every change runs the full test battery before it ships: the money paths (escrow, refunds, payouts, credits), the container isolation proof, the install journey performed for real on Linux, the browser flows on desktop and phone screens, and a check that every environment we offer actually exists for the hardware it's offered on.
Backups are restored and served as part of the same battery — a backup nobody has restored is a hypothesis, not a backup.
Want the details? The docs describe escrow, verification and refunds in plain words.
